You need to hold a space between the technical complexities of star lore and the real life issues of your clients. Prioritising the infinite amount of data into meaningful and supportive guidance is a skill that comes with practice and feedback.

Join our monthly chart reading workshops to build your skills in chart interpretation and gain confidence in your ability to progress your astrological studies towards client sessions.

Goals and intentions of these workshops

•  Praxis – Our astrological journey is often charaterised by too much information-gathering, and not enough practical application. These workshops aim to test out the techniques and theories we’ve gathered and see how they operate in real life cases.
• Preparation – No matter what field of astrology you endeavour to enter, you’ll need to develop your ability to analyse and assimilate astrological data into meaningful judgements. These workshops aim to prepare you and help build confidence towards your astrological pathway.
• Supervision – These workshops are facilitated by an experienced professional astrologer who can guide you on all aspects of how to approach a chart including clarifying the case, identifying the most effective techniques, considerations for judgement, client management, interpretation, communication and further research areas.
• Inspiration – Above all else, this collective hive of Astophiles will offer support, friendship, wonder and confidence for the craft of astrology, hopefully inspiring you to pursue any creative direction that emerges from your astrological musings.

How will the workshops work?

Monthly workshops

Third House Studio will open once a month (except for January) from September 2023 to March 2024 according to the following schedule. Times and days may change depending on the group’s circumstances.

Workshop format

During each workshop, we will analyse 2 or 3 charts in detail together in a forum that promotes interactivity, collective ideas, constructive feedback, privacy and sensitivity.

The goal of each case study is to apply our technological theory of astrology and come to a judgement about the chart or chart question.

You’ll be invited to volunteer your own chart OR a chart on behalf of someone you know for analysis by the group, ahead of each month’s workshop. You’ll need to provide full birth details (date, time and place of birth) as well as a query or topic for the chart owner and its relevant background.

Please note, you are not guaranteed to have your chart read as there is only time for 2 or 3 cases per session. All chart volunteers will also need to understand that each workshop will be recorded and shared to all Third House Studio members.

In some sessions, we could organise a real life client to attend to simulate a real life consultation.

Recordings

If you can’t attend live, you’ll have access to the workshop recordings to catch up on at a later stage with no time limits. All sessions are recorded and shared with other Third House Studio members for the purpose of study and research only.

What techniques will we work with?

These sessions will focus on chart delineation and forecasting based on the methods taught in my 5-week Solar Returns Course for Kepler College, which primarily includes the following techniques:

  • Accidental dignities
  • Solar returns
  • Annual Profections
  • Transits
  • Monthly returns
  • Monthly profections

However, there will be no limits to what tecniques we can discuss in Third House Studio. We will be open to explore and test any relevant techniques including Firdaria, Dodecatomoria, Zodiacal Releasing, Secondary Progressions, Doryphory and other areas of interests as we see fit.

Special workshops can be arranged for members to introduce new concepts or to fill in knowledge gaps. All shall be discussed and arranged in Third House Studio.

Cost of the membership

AUD $21.50 per month, payable as $130 for the full 6 month membership when joining. 

European conversion is approximately 13 Euro per month (or 77 Euros for 6 months).

American conversion is approximately USD14 per month (or USD84 for 6 months).
